JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Functional Trainer (Delivery Operations Programs)
Position Reports To: Training Manager
Job Purpose: To assist in Planning, Developing and mainly in Delivering ‘Delivery Specific’ training interventions Pan-India KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
Concern Validation Study / TNA / TNI:
 Conduct one-on-one meeting with the Management to bring out their concern regarding training needs
 Conduct one-on-one meeting with the target participants to validate the management’s concern regarding training needs quoted
 Interview the management/supervisors regarding ‘observations’ which led to felt training needs
 Conduct one-on-one meeting with the target participants regarding ‘non-training needs’ which may be responsible for average or below average performance
 Interview the management/supervisors regarding ‘behavioral lacuna’ within the target participant group
 Interview the management/supervisors regarding their expectations from the training intervention
Content Development & Management:
 Research, Design and Develop PowerPoint Presentations for delivery purpose
 Write and Document quality learning materials for learning purpose
Training Intervention:
 Deliver and Evaluate all ‘Functional Programs’ designed for the target audience
 Appropriate selection of training delivery mode for effective transfer of learning
 Appropriate selection of ‘training tools’ for effective transfer of learning
 Appropriate selection of medium of Instruction for varied audience for effective transfer of learning
 Proper profiling of the target audience for program customization in the classroom
 Build a positive rapport with all participants
 Encourage participation from all participants
 Monitor the progress of each participant and take action accordingly
 Test, Assess and Evaluate each participant to check their progress
Post-Training Activities:
 On-The-Job training of the participants at respective job locations
 Random visits to Customer Locations to observe and correct the participants’ performance
 Design and Conduct ‘Post-Training Evaluation’ through various tools and techniques after the course completion and submit a detailed report
 Organize and Conduct refresher training on regular basis
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
 First and foremost a ‘Passion for Training’ is essential
 Understands how Adult Learning principles work
 Knowledge of the training process and its various objectives
 Good oral command over English and Hindi language, in particular
 Good command over ‘Reading and Writing’ skills in Hindi language
 Good knowledge of MS Office– Excel, Word, Power-point. Should be comfortable with the use of electronic media
 Ability to strictly adhere/respond to established time frames and schedules
 Graduate degree in any discipline
 2-3 years of Training Delivery experience is a Must
 Must be willing to travel
