The Campus: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Campus at Andheri (W) spans over 40 acres. The brainchild of Kulpati K.M. Munshi, it houses an arts / commerce / science college, an autonomous engineering college, an institute of technology, a top-ten B-School and a high school. There is a temple, botanical garden, small lake and a full size sports filed on the Campus along with housing and hostels. Plans are underway to beautify the Campus and add a Centre for Performing Arts.
The Job:
Oversee accounting & finance of each institute / centre on the Campus
Statutory compliance
Management of surplus funds
Proprietary audit
Assist in commercial functions
Consolidation of accounts
Guide and train finance & accounts staff
The Person:
BCom/ MCom with CA or MBA
Minimum 15 years + experience in finance / accounts
Bureaucrats, bankers & executives with relevant experience
Good man management & coordination skills
Strong peer management
Age 45-60 years.
The Compensation: Reasonable compensation. This is one of the senior positions with Bhavans in Mumbai and carries with it social recognition. Candidate should have urge for social work & contribution. Housing on campus, if required. No retirement age.
