Candidates, 50-55 years of age, possessing a MD / MS / terminal degree in Medicine from
a reputed University, and having minimum 20 years of teaching experience, including
minimum 5 years in academic administration at a responsible position such as a Dean, in
a well-established medical college/ university may apply. The University will prefer
candidates with suitable clinical experience in large hospitals along with academic
administration in a medical college. Suitable candidates should also have experience in
curriculum development in a Problem Based Learning (PBL) environment, exposure to
international accreditation processes, examination and evaluation procedures, research
and development activities, faculty evaluation and development, continuing medical
education, etc.
Selected candidates will work with the Vice Chancellor and will be responsible for
entire academic administration activities including undergraduate and postgraduate
programs, spanning across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing colleges of the
University.
