Application Engineer

Job Location: Singapore

Job Description: Job Function:

Technical and engineering support to the sales and factory

Primary Duties:

I. Noise analysis and selection of silencers including modification of standard product

to meet site requirement

2. Dynamic and static shock calculation including preparation of reports and necessary

drawings

3. Selection of Vibration isolators

4. Plan and spec work including technical presentation and seminars, liaising and

maintaining good relationship with design engineers

5. Site visit for the purpose of coming up with proposal to solve existing noise and

vibration problems

6. Field testing, balancing and commissioning of our product including preparation of

reports as required by our customers and for our own records

7. Preparation and maintenance of all submittal drawings and mounting details for all

our product

Other Duties:

I. Product development based on market requirement and trends

2. Evaluating new product lines for possible incorporation into our product range

3. Software development to improve productivity. Computer programs not restricted to

engineering related software but may include programs for example, order tracking. order

entry and acknowledgement. Costing programs. etc

4. Develop and implementation of ISO 9018

5. Management and supervision of possible site installation and site work

6. Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing drawings

7. Costing 01 manufactured product

8. Execute all directions from the Project Manager/Project Engineer

Authorities:

I. Have reporting to you. the sales coordinator to assist you in the selection and

sizing of product. She will then prepare quotations, technical submissions, order

acknowledgement etc so as to support the sales team in their sales effort

2. Determining the selling price of standard and non-standard manufactured product in

concurrence with the Associate Director

Responsibilities:

1. Accurate and timely issuance of all technical reports, technical data, replies to

technical enquiries, etc 2. Accurate costing of all manufactured product

3. Maintenance of all computer software, whether purchased or developed internally or

externally

Accountabilities:

I. Complaints about accuracy or timeliness of technical reports issued by the company

2. Overpricing of manufactured product resulting in lost of order

3. Under pricing of manufactured product resulting in financial losses

Functional Area: Engineering

Functional Role: Mechanical Engineer

Candidate Requirement

Minimum Qualification/Competence Criteria:

1. Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

2. Preferably with some working experienced in M&E Firm

3. Fresh graduate are welcome, training will be provided

4. Able to work independently and a good team player.

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Qualification: DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING(Mechanical)

Compensation Details

Salary: 6.40 Lakhs to 7.20 Lakhs (Indian Rupees)
